This week we have been learning more about the Matariki Stars! It has been surprisingly fun learning more about these beautiful stars. Today I have made this Matariki Digital Art using the polyline tool, I thought making the mountains was a bit tricky for me but I started to play around with the polyline tool and made a wonky mountain that I really like! I have had a amazing time making this Matariki digital Art

Hey everyone! For the past 2 weeks room 3s literacy class has been learning about revolting rhymes and also, to engage our audience by reading aloud fluently and with expression.
This week I have been working on this task where I had to listen to a short audiobook and had to write down and justify my response.
The first audio wasn’t great at all to be honest, well there was no expression and just sounded boring…
The second audio was good but could’ve been better.
The third audio was just it! The expression was there and the enthusiasm was really standing out!

Immersion Assembly-Transformers
Our Pt England Way is to always kick start the term with an immersion assembly. Today was no different Our management team started us off by introducing our theme :Transformers -which is all about drama.
Team 3 decided to recreate their own Mini Matilda performance! They started off by Mrs Moala acting like the principal. Mrs Moala just found out, who ate her private delicious chocolate cake, well it was BOBBY JOHN! so then Mrs Moala prepared a chocolate cake for him so he can eat it in front of everyone. The thing is that he was already full and he couldn’t handle it anymore but then he just got into it, while other students around him was saying that he couldn’t do it, and would never finish it. Except for the audience, they encouraged him and was cheering for him. The students were right he never finished it so Mrs Moala was laughing because he couldn’t finish it. Then the performance ended when Bobby John got a handful of the cake and smashed it into Mrs Moala’s face, her reaction was the best part! It was an awesome little show they put on for us. Hey everyone!Today I am going to be explaining what Easter to my family mean. Easter to my family is just really not anything because we don’t celebrate and believe in Jesus, but we do celebrate it with our friends who believe in jesus, because that’s just what me and my family do! In the long easter weekend me and my family didn’t really do anything all we did was just go to the night market and to the mall to buy some more clothes, and we also went to the Auckland Easter show, I had a really fun time there! I’m really looking forward into the school holidays because, I mean why wouldn’t I? I mean who doesn’t even like the school holiday? I’m really looking forward to going out with my family by, travelling to new places, and also to hang out with my friends when they come over to my house. Do you like Easter? Hi everyone! This week room 3’s literacy has been reading a text called Mata I Pusi. It is about a girl who didn’t like herself because she was Samoan and palangi but she didn’t look Samoan enough so she got made fun of at school. Today I have made a wordart and my outline was a person. The reason why I Picked a person is because I think It is most related to the text. I put In about 12 keywords for the inside of my person. Hi everyone! “This is my Group Reflection” We had to put down our thinking by putting numbers 1 out of 3 1 means it needs a lot of work, 2 means it need some work and, 3 means Its good. This week room 3’s literacy class has been reading a Text called ” Going For Bread by Patricia Grace ” Basically my reading group was given a question that is about the text and, we had to discuss about what our thoughts were and what we think about people’s thoughts and to see if some people agree to the samething or disagree.
